Calathea Angela have two toned, striped deep green leaves with a purple and light green border.
They have a deep purple underside. A type of 'prayer plant', the leaves turn up at night. Being a tropical plant, Calathea thrive in a warm, humid environment.
Soil - A well draining soil. Only feed your plant during the growing season and leave it over the winter months. It also does not require that much fertiliser and if you use too much it can burn the leaves so we would recommend fertilising once a month throughout spring and summer
Water - Water regularly but allow the plant to dry out slightly between wateringsLight - Keep your Calathea happy in a warm room but not in direct sunlight
